Football is part of the English way of life...from an early age we are indoctrinated by friends and family to support A or B and so it goes on... The Euros 2012 will hopefully be a great success, but already our media is finding fault not only in our manager but also the destination of Poland and Ukraine....whilst media is important I'm worried it sometimes takes things too far and can have a negative effect not just on me but the whole country.I say good luck England and to Poland and Ukraine please prove our media wrong. Realistically its Spain ...or Holland...or Germany...or France...or Portugal(let me stop there) to win !!

The media and football have always been a headache. Realistically I believe Spain or Germany have great chances of winning, whereas Spain has got the most skill, I believe Germany has evan more ambition to win though. In Germany, similar as in England, football is part of the way of life and they have always been fighters when it came to competitions. I somehow don't believe in France or Portugal, much more Holland.
When it comes to choosing a team I have always been a bit uncertain as I am never really sure of choosing my place of birth or nationality!

I think Spain have got a good chance but after Chelsea parked the bus for the Champions league against Barca i wonder if other Countries managers will approach their games like Chelsea did Barca. As an Englishman i really want to say England but we always bottle it and we dont really have a strong enough team...a couple of world class players in Cole and Rooney the rest good but not good enough. The English will do well to get to semis..

Lampard is now definitely not taking part because of his injury… It's a shame, but I still hope they can get together as a team and bring football back home

Spain and Italy are both under preassure to win tonight, although I believe they will do that. Too bad Ireland wasnt able to get a point from their first match. Things could get a bit more interesting if Croatia would tie or beat Italy tonight, Italy wasnt able to beat Croatia in the last five macthes... The Germany match yesterday was quite entertaining, the team seemed to have found back to more strength after the first match was a bit uncertain. As far as England is concerned I believe they can pick up all three points tomorrow so they can go on and beat the Ukraine next week with Rooney back on the field

What a match!!! Nobody believed England would come back after the 2:1, at least in the pub where I was They will now at least draw the Ukraine and then Face Spain or Croatia, or Italy if they manage to get back in the last match!
