does anyone know what 3 ply mohair and summer kid mohair is and their various advantages / disadvantages in use? im looking for something to use in for a midnight blue dinner jacket so trying to weight up which would be well suited.

hi Regarding Mohair...in simple terms 3Ply is stronger than regular cloth...which usually means heavier...Summer kid mohair means as you can guess means the fleece is cut in summer making the mohair softer whereas most mohair is cut in winter making fleece harder (basically weather dependent).
Summer is softer and more luxurious and expensive ....winter is harder wearing and cheaper.
