Looking ahead past summer, will the Lesser 16oz or any of its deceased cousins be re-issued in time for the cold weather? Also, has the P&B Universal been pulled out of circulation? I see that it's not accessible on the website.

I am also longing for 16oz to 20oz fabrics with classic patterns...

Hi Grandson and welcome to the forum. Take a look at our Facebook page for an idea of our P&B Universal range. Weights go up to 22oz. www.facebook.com/Harrisons1863The new website is in progress and we'll have the complete range on display once that goes live early next year. Jonathan

Is there any of the Smiths Whole Fleece left? Merino Bros. in HK has it on their website, but I couldn't find it in various London tailors' books.

Camilli, can you confirm what it is you're looking at please. We don't have a Smiths Whole Fleece range and I can't see anything on the Merino Bros website.

www.merinobrothers.com/#!DSC_4380-425x640jpg/zoom/c1zt4/image1zph In the Luxury Flannels book just before the Solaros. There were originally only three or four colors-- navy blue, Oxford grey, charcoal, maybe one other. 15oz serge (I think), and called "Whole Fleece" because it uses the fine fibers as well as the coarser wool from the sheep.

Apologies Camilli, I understand what you were after now. It was from our Smith Woollens Luxury Flannels range but we currently have no stock of those particular patterns. We will be reviewing the Smiths Woollens ranges next year but presently are focused on W Bill and rebranding with, we hope, some exciting patterns for the new year. Have you seen our P&B Universal range? Maybe that would be a good weight and there's certainly a good variety of patterns.

I'll give that a look.
In the meantime, what are your plans for the Smiths Botany?
And will the Lesser 16oz get renewed any time soon? There are some patterns on the website that have been out of the book too long, and I'm sure there are others that didn't even make the website.

Smiths Botany is being relaunched in 2015 with some of the old favorites running alongside some new qualities. As for Lessers, we will be reviewing all ranges in the coming months and should have at least one or two renewed bunches out soon after.
2015 is going to be, we hope, an exciting year!

Jonathan That is excellent news, Botany is my favourite cloth in the 370-430 gms weight range. Is the Botany SW 3907X still available?

Thanks Jonathan. Actually I was asking about SW 3907 X, which I have just been helpfully informed is no longer in stock. That is quite a pity because I found that the indigo-hued navy shade of that particular cloth was very desirable. I found something in the Blue Riband (5846) that was similar, but was lighter in weight. I would be grateful for any guidance you could give on which number in the Harrisons Oyster/Thistle or Lesser 13 oz bunches would be most similar in colour to the SW3907X of old. Based on Merino Brothers' pictures, I have found that the 75766, 75767 and 75768 are quite similar in colour and also appear to be sharkskins too. Which would be the closest in terms of colour? Thanks in advance. Attachments:
