I went to the Harrisons of Edinburgh website several times today and with the exception of the Porter & Harding, all of the merchants' collections and their swatches weren't coming up (at least not on my computer-which is a Dell desk top-I don't know which model, my internet is Verizon Fios, nor on my cell phone-which is an iPhone 5C from Verizon Wireless)? Why is that?
Are any of H. Lesser & Sons', Harrisons of Edinburgh's and Lear Browne & Dunsford's collections being discontinued and/or revised? Are these merchants coming out with past collections that were discontinued or new collections?

I have also had problems with this website. Very few of the collections are being listed and even those do not link properly. I use a MacBook and my other internet connections work perfectly well.
It is now almost a week since lintyc reported the problem. Is anyone listening/reading who is able to respond?

I have received the following from Luke, which makes the situation much clearer:
We are currently in the process of updating our site unfortunately it is taking longer than we have expected due to taking over SW and W.Bill we are trying to focus on getting these up and running any queries you have you can email us directly and we will try and help the best we can.

The site is still very difficult to use; despite almost 10 weeks, the displays either stick or do not appear at all. I do hope that Harrisons aren't paying good money to a bad website designer! Meanwhile, those of us hoping to find cloths before being overwhelmed at the tailor are being left high and dry....

Gosh, does anyone from the company read this stuff? If so, why do they not respond? Inability to organize a website is not really acceptable in 2014.

Hi.
Jonathan here from Harrisons. Just a quick update for you all really. I have recently started at Harrisons of Edinburgh and one of my first tasks is to manage the website. We are currently focused on getting a new, usable website that truly reflects what Harrisons and our other brands mean and ask that you remain patient for a little longer. We are aiming for a spring launch and hope that the new site is a more rewarding experience to use.
In the meantime, should you need any assistance or have any enquiries, please do get in touch.
Thanks.
Jonathan

So, Jonathan, when is "spring" as in "spring launch"? March? April? May? June?
The current site is still in the same mess as it was in August 2014. Perhaps you could at least give punters a clue as to what is happening. Silence is not a communication strategy; it is a failure to communicate.
I would love to see what is available, but I struggle to understand how so many collections are simply inaccessible when a year ago they weren't. Your competitors must be laughing all the way to the bank...

So now it's nearly March and the silence continues. What kind of customer care does this suggest? Harrisons may be merchants for some wonderful cloths but this website is simply appalling.
